The Jon Yi Education Scholarship
Jon is a former student of Texas A&M University. As a recipient of various scholarships throughout his educational career, Jon holds strong precedence in the value and significance of financial support in post secondary education. The humbling opportunity given as others invested in his education was a rewarding experience, thus drove motivation to reciprocate his gratitude by creating his own scholarship.
The Jon Yi Education Scholarship was established in 2018 and awards $1,000 to one high school senior enrolling in a Texas-based post secondary educational institution (University, College, or Trade School) pursuing a two or four year degree. Applicants are selected on the basis of their financial need, academic achievement, leadership, and community involvement.

To promote and provide financial assistance to deserving college-bound high school graduates in pursuance of their higher education.

Finalists will be notified by August 5, 2024
One winner will be selected by August 16, 2024
